• Girls today are lame

  

  With lissome figures and fetching smiles, the women of the 1960s have always seemed to grasp my attention. Their photographs seem to hold so much mystery. Their smiles always so charming, and their eyes very surreptitious. If I could be as alluring (so not to be mistaken, alluring as in intriguing, not in the philandering sense.) as them, well..let’s just say my life would contain a little more contentment. They carried themselves with such elegance and confidence; basically, they could handle themselves. I mean, that is after all when the Women’s Liberation came to be.

  It just seems as if the women of the 60s knew what they wanted to do. They had so much drive to be the best. They even took many job roles that were solely for men. For instance, many women joined the armed forces or became scientists. Hell, some women even became the head of major corporations. Women like these make me want to strive to be even better than the potential I have now. Yet here I am, so unsure of what my next step in life will be. Sadly, I know I am not the only one. Just looking at many females today, they seem to be content with being looked at as an ingénue. Instead of just accepting our lives now, shouldn’t we want to be more expressionistic if not impressionistic towards the future generations?
