  • When do you know when to give up?

    (Listen while reading)

With each passing day I come closer to the end. The drive that I had to save our relationship was once strong and thriving, now it’s slowly fading away. The glimmers of hope are floating away to the unknown above, turning into specks of dust that will soon disappear into nothing.

You say you want your feelings to come back, that you want us to try and salvage the bits and pieces of relationship we have left. Why is it that I am the only one trying? You want us to work, but you show no effort towards the wants you blankly express. The words that float across your lips, are empty…completely meaningless. Yet, why do I hang on to every word you say so tightly with hopes that the emptiness will turn into something?

How does one know when to cross over the boundary lines of being hopeful, to hopeless? I wish you would tell me, but I know it’s something that only time will tell us..even though it’s already spoken.
