  • Super gross awkward story time

The weirdest thing just happened. I’m skyping with my friend Sam at the moment. We rarely talk anymore, so when we do it’s always a fun time. Well, I’ve been in a complicated situation recently, and have been bummed out. Well, Sam knows I love his music, so he starts DJing for me on skype for a bit. Things are finally unwinding for me, and I’m relaxing.

Well, about an hour later I start getting these cramps (which I rarely get)…then of course I feel the lady stuff happen. Yup, I started my lady time while webcamming with my friend whom I haven’t talked to in forever. My face pretty much looks like the face Raven makes when she’s having a vision. So nonetheless, my life….wants to make all aspects of everything I do uncomfortable x.x

I don’t know about you guys, but I’m such a fanatic when it comes to baked goods. I could eat them all day, even with knowing the consequences it’ll have on my waistline later. Lately, I’ve been in a cupcake craving mood, and that’s when I stumbled upon these beautiful little beasts.

Here are the five cupcakes that had me foaming at the mouth.

  • My top 5 horror movies on Netflix

I’ve been surfing the horror section of Netflix lately. For all of us who have a Netflix account (and occasionally wonder why we didn’t cancel our subscription yet) we know how difficult it is to find movies that are actually considered good. After what seemed like hours of searching for movies in the past few days, I did manage to find a few that quickly became my top favorite in non traditional horror films.

    5. The Hole (2001)
    4. Audition
    3. Mum & Dad
    2. Pontypool
    1. Red State

  • Eat this!

Yesterday I quit my job, and although a very difficult decision, I made it with haste. I would rather be unemployed than deal with their unprofessionalism. They were very greedy people that cared more about money than they did about the well being of their workers and customers. I’m sure that’s majority of business owners, but at least the previous people I worked for made working conditions tolerable.

I couldn’t stand the constant blame they put on me for things I didn’t do. A really great example would be from last week. Customers were coming into the restaurant like crazy, and a coworker that I worked with picked a table to help. I didn’t deal with that table because I had customers of my own to worry about. Anyways, somehow their order got messed up, and instead of yelling at her, the owners yelled at me. I’m not sure what they were saying, but a few parts go translated for me. Apparenlty, I’m a screw up and I always mess things up. They said something like I couldn’t do anything right and that I’m lazy. I was so pissed off when they told me this, it’s not like it was the first time I got in trouble for something I didn’t do either.

Yesterday I texted them and told them to forget about giving me hours to work because I could find a place better that would give me more hours. If they don’t value me, they can forget about having any ounce of my time. I feel relieved that I quit that job, but at the same time horrible because I’m needing to find a job asap. Money is draining from my bank account just for basic living essentials. It’s blowing hard.

  • Healthy Eating Tool

I know I’ve mentioned many times throughout the years that I’ve been dieting and working out to lose weight. I haven’t updated anything for awhile because I’ve been failing. I don’t know what exercises to do that’ll give me that effective workout, I hate drinking water, and when it comes to food…I just don’t portion and choose way unhealthy foods over healthy foods….I can’t help that it’s so delicious. What I’ve failed to realize is that my health should come first before my wants. That’s when I turned to the internet.

I stumbled upon Two Foods not too long ago, and found it to be really amazing. It’s really helpful for those who are struggling with what foods they should eat and what they shouldn’t eat. Thankfully this website is really simple to use, and it’s pretty straight forward. All you do is type the two foods and/or drinks that you’re wondering about, and voila, you have a comparison of the nutritonal values between the two.

    Two Foods

It’s really interesting when you start to compare the different foods out there with one another. At one point I was thinking that the whole pint of gelato I’ve been wanting to shove down my throat is probably less filling than a watermelon. I would most likely feel better about eating the watermelon over the gelato too. Either way, this tool is something I can see myself using throughout my week.
