Getting drunk
(my friend who shall remain unnamed)After every weekend morning of early work, I go to my boyfriend’s house because it’s literally a minute away. Each morning it seems like I stumble across drunken people suffering through crazy hangovers. Witnessing how they constantly throw up and can’t even remember the night before I’m wondering what is the appeal in this? Sure, getting your buzz on might be fun, but where is the fun in going beyond that point?
I’m not sure how many times I had to either help clean up another person’s vomit, or be a mom for the night (or morning). Is it simply because it’s a competition and people like to out drink each other? If that’s the case, people are so silly. I mean, do people not realize how childish (literally) they act?
